Trapped Water in Bathtub's Shell Caused Mold Infestation

Unbeknownst to the customer, their new tub shell that covered their original tub had trapped water and created an infestation of mold in the tub and bathroom walls.  They initially noticed an excessive amount of moisture as the walls were damp and soft to the touch.  They quickly called SERVPRO of Framingham to assess the situation and after investigating, we discovered mold trapped within the walls and the original bathtub covered in mold after we removed the replacement shell.  Mold can spread throughout a property in as little as 48 hours.
